A Hawaiian Luau is a celebration involving a local feast accompanied by various types of traditional entertainment. The actual word “Luau” is a term often blended with the word party…meaning that an actual luau can be held for many reasons. A graduation, birthday or even a wedding.
Hawaiian Luau themed parties and celebrations often take place in an open outdoor area with a stage and lights. As cocktail hour nears an end you’ll most likely start to hear conch shells blowing and see men dressed in Hawaiian attire running around lighting all the Tiki Torches. From there. you’ll be invited to watch the official reveal and removal of the pig from a pit nearby. Yes, this is the pork that will be served at the luau! Other traditional favorites served is Poi, chicken long rice and lomi lomi salmon. Poke is another luau favorite. It is raw fish marinated in citrus juices and coconut cream… delicious! Sweet grilled pineapples, barbecued veggies, and traditional favorites make for a perfect Hawaiian feast.
Hawaiian Luau Tickets start at $110 per adult.
