Founded in 1832, Keawalai Church in Makena, Maui, Hawaii was originally constructed of pili grass and was reconstructed by the Hawaiians using lava rock from the nearby beach, local lumber, and coral as the cement to bind the rocks. This unique and historical landmark is perfect to celebrate a union while incorporating the Hawaiian culture.
