Kauai Wedding

A Kauai Wedding

Cher Weldon and Ron Jones traveled from Colmesneil, Texas to the beautiful North shore of Kauai where First Class Weddings arranged an intimate Hawaiian wedding ceremony.  Cher and Ron’s First Class Wedding took place on one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii on the island of Kauai, officially named Kauapea beach.

Kauapea Beach (aka Secret Beach)

This beach is more commonly known as Secret Beach which is a wonderfully romantic and secluded location to tie the knot.

Inspired by Tori Spelling’s wedding, Cher had a distinct vision of what she wanted for her special day. The result…a perfect comprimise that included a romantic beach ceremony with Hawaiian Ukelele music, an aisle way scattered with orchids, custom sand castle display and a romantic private catered dinner under the stars.

Hale Lani

Secret Beach Hideaway Kauai - Hale Lani

Cher and Ron stayed at Secret Beach Hideaway's Hale Lani (shown above & below), a stunningly gorgeous cottage that sits atop a cliff overlooking the couple's ceremony location on Secret Beach.

The Hale Lani Kauai is secured by a gated entrance and is extremely private. This truly is a perfect hideaway for a Kauai Wedding.

Flowers included an all white Calla Lily bouquet, a traditional Maile Lei for the groom and a white Orchid Lei for the bride. Cher and Ron exchanged leis in a traditional Hawaiian lei exchange symbolizing their love and commitment to each other.

Cher, Ron and their Kauai wedding vendors - including a musician, a minister, photographer and even a sand castle artist made their way down the steep path en-route to the beach.

Custom Sand Castle

It was no easy feat yet First Class Weddings hired professional sand castle builder Julian Miller and he brought in the appropriate tools, sand and other secret ingredients to make this custom sand castle oasis for Cher and Ron!

Private Kauai Wedding Dinner Reception

Lit by Tiki Torches and candle light, Mr. and Mrs. Jones celebrated with a privatly catered dinner in a romantic canopy on the grounds of Secret Beach Hideaway's Hale Lani.

Congratulations Cher and Ron Jones!  First Class Weddings is honored to have been a part of your special day.

Hawaiian Vow Renewal

Hawaii Vow Renewal – 30 years strong!

Pege & Lenny Fischman celebrated their 30 year Hawaiian vow renewal with First Class Weddings. We are extremely honored to have been chosen to share in this emotionally charged and deeply heart-felt occasion. The Fischman’s and their two sons traveled all the way from Jupiter Florida so this was an extra special treat for us.

Pege Fischman

When First Class Weddings started planning with Pege in June of 2012 she specifically requested a small and private beach location. Although they were staying at the Puamana Condo’s on the West side of the island, we felt that a beach located 45 minutes away on the South shore of Maui would provide exactly what she was looking for.

Beach Wedding

After a few short months of planning, obtaining a Hawaii beach permit, hand selecting the perfect minister and securing one of the finest photographers on Maui, Pege and Lenny were re-married on August 16, 2012. The minister officially started the ceremony by blowing the Conch Shell.

Beach Wedding

Shortly after the ceremony started the couple laughed as they recalled memories and told stories of their past.  Precious memories for sure!

Beach Wedding

The Hawaiian island weather was perfect as Pege & Lenny yet again shared one of the most memorable days of their lives together.

Beach Wedding

Pege & Lenny have endured so much over the years and even told us that there were times that they thought they wouldn’t make it….yet here they are. This couple truly has what it takes to endure whatever life dishes out.

Beach Wedding

Pege’s bouquet consisted of pink ginger, cymbidium orchids, and dendrobium orchids.

Beach Wedding

First Class Weddings loves Hawaiian Vow Renewals and we completely adore Pege & Lenny Fischman!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Fischman & Family!

Beach WeddingsBeach Weddings

In Hawaii the beaches are absolutely stunning, which makes getting married on the beach a dream come true for some couples. What you don’t know is that in Hawaii, special permits are required in order to have beach weddings and you have to hire a wedding planner to get the permit (unless you want to pay for a million dollar liability policy that lists the State of Hawaii as a beneficiary), and then go through the application process solely on your own.

Beach permit fees range from about $50 to $300 depending on the size of space you need on the beach (this includes you, your guests and all your vendors). There are also restrictions on decor that you will need to take under consideration so paying a little more for a planner to help you achieve this dream is way worth it.

Some other things that you  may not want to hear about beach weddings in Hawaii is that they offer limited privacy, there are no back up options in the event of inclement weather, and your restroom options are very limited.  However, if you know all of these things and are still up for a Hawaiian Beach Wedding then please email us and we will be happy to guide and assist you, every step of the way.

 WEDDINGS IN HAWAII

We here at First Class Weddings (FCW) are eager to help guide you through all the stages of the wedding planning process. However, there are some decisions that you must make on your own before we can help you.

Decision 1: Make a final decision on where your destination wedding will be.

You can spend countless hours researching the web and weighing your options ahead of time. To better help you, one site that First Class Weddings finds extremely helpful for clients considering weddings in Hawaii is www.gohawaii.com. This site will provide you with information on the seven Hawaiian islands and what each of them have to offer. Another site for those of you that may be considering France is www.hautewedding.co.uk. This site is great if you’re looking for a European adventure. Finally, if you’re wanting to get married in the Rocky Mountains we suggest www.coloradoweddings.com.

Whatever location that you’re dreaming of it is important that you decide on a destination location first and focus your attention on this decision as your FIRST priority. This will save you TONS of time and literally add years to your life. Also, we hope that your decision does not rely on finding a wedding planner to help you first, but rather on the amazing destination itself.

Once you decide on a location then you can begin seriously looking for someone to guide and assist you in the State/area that  you have selected. First Class Weddings can then help you determine who will warrant your time and attention in the wedding industry. Keep checking back for the launch of our exclusive directory of qualified professionals.
