If you’re interested in hiring us, here are three things to know about how First Class Weddings is different.
First Class Weddings lets you focus on each other
First Class Weddings is a reputable party planner that holds your hand through the entire process. Our systems are central. They accompany you to help illustrate your dream on paper. But there are no cumbersome routines and nothing to set-up.
When you fill out our outlines, you’ll know that your dream will be accurately received and each step will feel great and we’ll automatically adjust each item to accommodate your budget until it’s completely refined.
First Class Weddings system and tools is truly what-you-see-is-what-you-get and has just the right amount of correspondence without being overwhelming. In short, First Class Weddings is focused on keeping you organized and on track.
“It’s true: First Class Weddings has the best wedding planning system ever! My wedding was a dream come true.” – Emily Brooking
First Class Weddings is Collaborative
With First Class Weddings, you’re not alone. You are supported beside and with other people (worthy vendors). This means your wedding dream is shared, your wishes get fulfilled, and instead of flying solo being consumed by the web, you’re part of a dynamic whole, where each part makes the others better.
At the heart of First Class Weddings is the idea that integrity driven people create better things together. Even wedding planners need a team, and First Class Weddings makes it easy to get help before you hit the “send” button. These same tools let couples engage with us by offering feedback and ideas in context (with the president always listening and refining our processes to make them better).
"This is probably the most awesome team of people I’ve ever seen collaborating at a wedding.” – Kerry Fitgerald
First Class Weddings helps you find your venue
We work with all the venues and believe that each place should compete on their own merits. At First Class Weddings you can discover all the pros and cons of each desired location within your desired preferences, without a formal commitment to the space. You’re final decision will be based on receiving factual information so that you can make an educated decision before locking it in.
Through a combination of relationships and experience, First Class Weddings has worked at all the locations and knows what the policy’s and procedures are at each site. Some venues get more weddings than others – and not because of price. First Class Weddings is not about selling you our favorite, but about what your criteria is.
“Over the years, I’ve worked with First Class Weddings in dozens of wedding locations in Hawaii. I know that more clients choose First Class Weddings to help them select their venues than doing it on their own,” – Celia Canty
Why We Built First Class Weddings
In 1993, I was growing a video production studio where I stumbled onto the world of wedding planning. At that time there were only four other wedding planning companies on the island of Maui. I was out in the field video taping weddings a lot so it was easy to see what kind of services were being offered. The idea that anyone, anywhere, could have their dream wedding in Hawaii without sacrificing a single solitary thing seemed radical.
Back then I became consumed by the industry. I was passionate about making a difference for couples getting married in Hawaii. I wanted to be the best, the brightest, and offer the most quality wedding services in the world.
Today, we carry the Internet around on pocket-sized devices with more computing power and pixels that we previously had on our desks a few years ago. We have innumerable options for sharing our wedding wishes. Pinterest and Facebook have taken the world by a storm and now there are over a hundred wedding planners on the island of Maui alone. That's amazing advancement.
We think there's more to do.
It's clear that we've only scratched the surface of how we can use the tools available to connect us to the hearts and minds of wedding couples. It's also clear that the way media is changing isn't entirely positive when it comes to creating a more informed citizenry. Now that we've made sharing information virtually effortless, how do we increase depth of understanding, while also creating a level playing field that encourages a higher caliber of wedding services?
We don't know all the answers. But we know that dreams matter (still), so we built a better system to help us connect and implement them.
First Class Weddings is built for everyone. We encourage you to take a look around, read about our services, like us on Facebook and follow @fcweddings onTwitter for updates.
Thanks for your interest.
